Diet Plan
The first rule to reach any of your successful fitness goals is to remember to eat!! My diet and training plan was created by Edgar Quinones and the first thing he did was set alarms on my cell phone and told me to eat every time it rang no matter what, even if I was not hungry. Starving yourself will not get you results. I eat 6 times per day every 3 hours. Because of my fitness goals my diet is broken down by macro nutrients, which means I have a very specific breakdown of protein, fats, and carbs per meal. However, to get started you just want to make sure you eat on time and clean. I am sure you have heard about eating clean! However, most people do not know how to translate what that really means. Eating clean basically means that all of my protein is low in fat and my Carbs are low in sugar and fat.
Sources of low fat protein: Chicken breast, turkey breast, egg whites, or low fat fish (tilapia, trout, tuna, or mahi mahi). Meat should be grilled or baked not breaded or fried that will add unnecessary fat and carbs that you just do not need.
Sources of low Carbs: Whole grain crackers or bread, low fat popcorn 100 calorie bags, Special K chips are amazing and are low in fat. Other sources can be brown rice, whole grain pasta, and green vegetables. There are many more options available however; this is what I usually include in my daily.
Supplements: Protein Powder: I use protein shakes to supplement some of my meals. This is a great option if you are struggling with getting all your food in daily. The protein I use is made by Syntrax called Nectar. I also use pre work out made by Nutrex Research to give me energy for my entire training. I also take BCAA's (Branch Chain Amino Acids) during my workout.

Next Competition
Undecided: I competed in July of 2012 at the NPC Southern States. After reviewing my pictures I feel that although I did show my best on stage, I want to take some time to focus on gaining more muscle. Once I see the results I looking to obtain I will update this site with my next show.
